Invite a Patient or Provider to a Video Encounter as a Coordinator

After 'Accepting' an Encounter, scroll down to the Join URLs section at the middle of the page

You may send invites via Email, SMS text, or Manually by relaying the meeting ID number (Typically a patient is invited first to discuss medical history in the video and then a provider is then invited).

  1. Click on the check box to send an invite to either the patient or the provider.  You may enter an alternate email address in the override box
  2. Click on SEND EMAIL or SEND SMS or RECORD JOINS (Check this if you decide to send manual meeting ID numbers to either user)
  3. Do Not Require Authentication = Means it will send the video invite without the need for the user to input or create their portal password (This may be used if the user cannot remember their password or may not be as tech savy with technology).

When the invitation has been sent, confirm with the user by waiting in the room or contacting them if you do not see them in the video after a couple of minutes.
